Edit text, isn't that what our CMS is for?
Yes. But not all text lives in the CMS. Most websites have lots of "hardcoded" text — stuff that's built into the site and not editable in your CMS. Think: button labels, tooltips, error messages, form instructions, menu items. That's where Stringtale helps.
Why should I care?
Because asking a developer to change some text sounds easy — but
it's not. They have to stop what they're doing, open the right project, find
the file, make the change, double check it, commit it, and push it. Then try
to get back into what they were actually doing. That interruption is called
context switching. It kills focus. It wastes time and too be honest is
really annoying.
